RELEASE HISTORY

WHAT'S
NEW.

New features, fixes and compatibility changes in every MLOStudio release. Important updates are highlighted.

September 2, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.150

Added

  • Interior generation can now produce four sequential variants, keep each result in an independent scene collection and let users select, export or export all accepted variants.
  • Exterior Portals can be enabled independently. When enabled, MLOStudio derives portal markers from the generated exterior openings while continuing to read existing legacy portal data.

Improved

  • Material, prop and ambientCG pagination now balances the final pages and adapts the number of cards to the current native-window size.
  • Native Interior controls have been simplified: the duplicate ambientCG refresh action and the manual open-portal card are no longer shown, while the shared Material Editor refresh remains available.

Fixed

  • Interior generation quota is consumed only by accepted results. Failed, cancelled and late responses are settled reliably without mutating the Blender scene.
  • Shared DDS materials can be restored from the trusted Material Library when a generated result needs the exact source texture, avoiding false missing-texture failures.
  • Interior generation failures now report concise physical causes and preserve deterministic retry behaviour.

September 2, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.149

Fixed

  • GTA LOOK now keeps the exterior visible through open and glazed windows at the calibrated time-of-day brightness instead of applying the low-energy interior lighting world to camera rays and turning windows nearly black.
  • Imported `mirror_decal.sps` dynamic-reflection planes no longer cover the authored floor with an inaccurate Eevee reflection. GTA LOOK suppresses only dedicated reflection-buffer objects and restores their original render visibility on disable, export, failure and restart.
  • Sollumz shader identity and render-bucket values preserved in raw material properties are now recognised when live registered properties are unavailable, without treating every stale raw shader record as a preview source.

September 2, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.148

Improved

  • Interior generation now applies material tint adjustments more efficiently, reducing generation time while preserving the selected materials and resulting scene.

Fixed

  • Multi-storey residences no longer treat a wall on a different floor as a same-level junction, preventing false wall-end gaps around stair and elevator layouts.

September 1, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.147

Improved

  • Apartment generation now reuses the result of physically identical furniture-fit checks, substantially reducing generation time without changing the selected assets, room layout or generated scene.

September 1, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.146

Fixed

  • Automatic updates now wait for every open foreground and background Blender process before replacing the shared add-on directory, preventing an active process from holding native add-on files during installation.
  • Concurrent update helpers are serialised and idempotent: a repeated helper recognises an already-installed version instead of moving the active add-on into a second rollback directory and leaving the MLOStudio tab unavailable.
  • Deferred installation runs the verified candidate's update helper, so updater reliability fixes apply with the release that contains them while failed swaps still restore the previous add-on directory.

September 1, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.145

Fixed

  • GTA LOOK now preserves the selected timecycle's full upper, lower and lateral interior ambient response. Complete MLOs and back-facing room surfaces no longer collapse into near-black areas merely because they do not face the single preview fill direction.
  • The fix keeps authored source lights, GTA shadow flags, the Casino reflection calibration and the reversible ON/OFF and export behaviour unchanged.

September 1, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.144

Added

  • GTA LOOK now exposes exactly two scene controls: the GTA V interior timecycle modifier and world time. Five calibrated modifiers reproduce their distinct daytime, nighttime, ambient, reflection and emissive response while the base weather remains CLEAR.

Improved

  • Interior lighting and post-processing use a build-3095 GTA/FiveM calibration with stronger contact-shadow contrast and matched shadow, midtone and highlight distributions instead of the flatter ordinary Eevee Rendered viewport response.
  • Reflections inherit the selected timecycle's interior probe tint, night-only emissive shaders follow world time, and dense MLO scenes use a stable shadow-atlas resolution that avoids missing-shadow overflow.

Fixed

  • Imported lights now cast preview shadows only when their authoritative GTA flags request them; GTA LOOK restores every original Blender shadow setting on disable, save/reopen, export, failure and repeated ON/OFF cycles.

September 1, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.143

Added

  • A single `Enable GTA LOOK` control gives existing Blender scenes a reversible GTA/FiveM-style preview, including calibrated colour management, environment lighting and material treatment; the same control disables the mode and restores the exact original scene state.
  • GTA LOOK recognises common imported shader families including decals and cutouts, glass and refraction, emissive surfaces, reflections, normal/specular materials and supported parallax previews, while unsupported shaders remain visible with an explicit approximation warning.

Improved

  • GTA LOOK follows materials and mesh objects added after activation, survives save and reopen, and preserves user replacements made while the mode is active instead of overwriting them when it is disabled.
  • Export temporarily restores authoritative Sollumz materials and settings, then returns to the active preview without placing preview helpers or replacement materials in the exported resource.

Fixed

  • Native Interior resource exports canonicalise PyMateria's non-authoritative wall-clock build metadata, so identical YDR, YBN, YTYP and YMAP payloads remain byte-identical across repeated exports.

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.142

Improved

  • Apartment price and style tiers now preserve the same five-room residential baseline unless the prompt explicitly requests additional rooms, while changing room scale, finishes, furnishing palettes and layout families from budget to luxury.
  • Premium wealth terms no longer force every apartment into the same luxury style; premium generation now rotates distinct stone, walnut and contemporary gallery finish concepts while explicit luxury prompts remain luxury.
  • Material selection separates a texture's intrinsic provider metadata from prior-use provenance, varies only among choices that still match the requested palette and condition, and keeps bathrooms and other wet rooms on suitable tile or wet-safe surfaces.
  • Bright and light interiors receive room-varied export-safe tonal correction when a source texture renders darker than its catalog tags, without changing the user's Material Library or flattening the original surface detail.
  • Living rooms, bedrooms and hallways use five composition families and rotate complete preview-reviewed light, warm and dark furniture palettes across eligible residential styles and price tiers.
  • Dining groups now follow the residential price contract: budget, standard and premium use distinct coherent table-and-chair families, with larger four-seat apartment tables reserved for suitably enlarged premium kitchens.
  • Automatic price profiles keep their authored physical room envelopes unless the prompt explicitly overrides the dwelling or room size, so premium furniture is not forced back into standard-size rooms.
  • Generated interiors show the readable `Rooms` branch first in Blender's Outliner, with numbered room names, while export-only Archetypes and Collision remain separate technical branches.

Fixed

  • Televisions use the real support height of media consoles; the compact media unit is cropped to its 0.64 m console geometry instead of retaining a tall decorative frame in its placement bounds.
  • Extracted kitchen meshes now receive verified 30-degree Smooth by Angle data after donor normals are rebuilt, preserving smooth faces and intentional hard edges.
  • Kitchen extractor shape now follows price tier, layout and style, preventing distinct apartment prompts from collapsing onto the same seed-selected hood family.
  • The later extracted-furniture pass no longer replaces a premium dining table with the seed-selected folding utility table.
  • Dining seats are arranged from the measured table bounds as one usable group, and saved-scene validation rejects a room whose final table or chair count no longer matches its advertised dining capacity.
  • A valid exterior entrance remains on its topology-authored facade when an enclosed hallway has no exterior wall, instead of being moved to a physically impossible hallway edge.
  • Open-plan rooms now remove the shared wall on both sides and treat the resulting physical opening as a valid circulation entrance.
  • Doorway skirting cuts include the full outer casing width and its corner projection onto perpendicular walls; final example files no longer contain the acceptance sentinel, and saved-scene validation checks these defects after reopen.

August 30, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.141

Improved

  • Fitted kitchens now vary between four measured extractor-hood shapes, four layout families and five coordinated cabinet finishes, with corrected hob seating and smooth cabinet shading.
  • Bathrooms use five lower, proportioned mirror presets and keep sinks, mirrors and towel rails clear of doors and windows; high windows can safely remain above low baths.
  • Residential scenes gain broader door-frame, window, lighting and fixture variation, including panoramic premium windows, real socket and heater assets, and restrained colour variation for furniture props.

Fixed

  • Door casings overlap wall cut edges by a few millimetres, baseboards stop at every doorway, and final validation checks opening clearance in three dimensions instead of treating high windows as floor-to-ceiling obstacles.
  • Kitchen modules retain closed side geometry without cropped television-console remnants, protruding hobs or sharp-edge shading artifacts.
  • Floor and ceiling grime decals use supported surface geometry, while entry doormats, sockets, smoke detectors and radiators use physical reviewed assets instead of placeholder cubes.

August 30, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.140

Improved

  • Apartment prompts now select distinct default room programmes for budget homes, ordinary apartments and premium penthouses, while explicit custom room programmes remain unchanged.
  • Residential props use restrained room-wide colour families with small lightness variation, and facade windows vary in proportion, frame colour and size without leaving the room palette.
  • Entry halls include residential runners or doormats, and tiled floors use tileable material surfaces instead of raised decorative floor geometry.

Fixed

  • Apartment wall contours now close cleanly at outer corners, shared walls and T-junctions without holes or overlapping wall volumes; measured doors fit their openings without visible frame gaps.
  • Complete reviewed kitchen runs keep closed working fronts and ends on every wall orientation, and bathroom fixtures, mirrors and towels stay clear of doors and windows.
  • Bedrooms always receive complete bed assemblies and clean nightstands instead of mattress-only results or cropped television-console remnants.
  • Refreshing newly downloaded ambientCG finishes no longer forces an unrelated full base-material and CodeWalker rescan during every generation.

August 29, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.139

Fixed

  • Interior generation attempts are now atomic: any failed physical build or final validation restores the exact pre-attempt scene, so the same resource name can be generated again in the same Blender session without leftover objects, collections, materials, images or metadata.
  • Required material images are checked before a generated scene is committed. A missing or unloaded texture now stops with the exact dependency error instead of leaving an invalid generated resource behind.
  • Deterministic resource, material, image, UV and rollback failures now stop immediately. Seed retries remain available only for failures that a different spatial layout can actually resolve.

August 29, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.138

Improved

  • Automatic apartment generation now uses one authoritative path from the requested room program through connected architecture, openings, circulation, furnishing, real asset resolution and final mesh assembly.
  • Kitchens and bathrooms use complete reviewed, textured component groups with measured access space and explicit style, condition and price contracts. Generation stops with the missing physical contract instead of substituting a partial legacy or procedural room.
  • Apartment finishes are resolved by room purpose from the material library, while required furniture and fixtures must resolve to eligible physical assets with known bounds.

Fixed

  • Final acceptance independently checks the saved scene's actual doors, openings, furniture bounds and routes after reopening the `.blend`, including continuous bedroom access and functional kitchen and bathroom zones.
  • Compact budget apartments, including seed `741849013`, now retain real facade windows, a clear connected layout, a complete fitted kitchen and a complete bathroom without the rejected legacy kitchen path.
  • Explicit apartment area requests now fail clearly when the minimum complete room contracts cannot fit, instead of silently enlarging the requested home.

August 29, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.137

Changed

  • This release introduced preliminary apartment topology, residential furnishing and finish-family changes. These changes did not complete the intended Interiors architecture and must not be treated as visually accepted based on automated test counts or the legacy quality score.
  • Empty, oversized, malformed and damaged Unicode prompts now degrade to a bounded deterministic residential program when AI services time out or return invalid data, without leaving generation busy or discarding required rooms.

Known limitations

  • Automatic compact kitchens can still select the legacy `custom.kitchen_sinkunit_run`, and furnishing validation does not yet prove a continuous usable route through the final imported meshes. The exact apartment regression for seed `741849013` remains visually rejected; floor, wall, orientation and window behavior also require renewed final-scene verification.

August 29, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.136

Improved

  • Interiors adds 20 reviewed modules extracted from compound game props, including media walls and consoles, storage furniture, kitchen and reception counters, bar counters, desks and tables.
  • Every extracted module preserves its component hierarchy and embedded textures, receives a stable custom archetype, and exports its drawable to the Interior resource's `stream` folder when used.
  • Living and dining rooms gain measured, seed-driven alternatives from the new media units and utility table while retaining the existing fit, clearance and collision checks.

August 29, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.135

Fixed

  • Repeated apartment generation no longer keeps removed Blender kitchen meshes in memory, preventing the second generation from failing after cleanup or a fit retry.
  • Loft requests preserve an open kitchen–living connection even when the AI response omits it, while explicit separate-kitchen requests remain closed.
  • Large apartment and room-size adjectives no longer multiply into oversized living rooms and bathrooms; industrial loft living areas retain clear circulation without a dense showroom cluster.
  • Apartment furniture, fitted kitchens and generated fallback materials now follow the requested visual style instead of silently falling back to the Interior preset's modern style during seed variation.
  • Fitted dining groups keep the seat capacity selected for their measured free space, preventing a later fit pass from appending an orphan chair.

August 29, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.134

Improved

  • Interiors adds six reviewed furniture modules extracted from compound game props: two finished kitchen base units, compact and long media walls, a wooden storage hutch and a round wood-and-metal table.
  • Suitable kitchens, dining areas and living rooms now use the extracted modules only when their measured footprint fits; each keeps embedded textures and exports as a custom archetype with its own streamed drawable.

August 29, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.133

Improved

  • Apartment size, room program and furnishing density now scale with the requested budget and residence class, from compact budget homes to multi-level ultra-luxury penthouses with distinct living, suite and leisure spaces.
  • Floors, walls and wet areas use a restrained compatible finish palette, with shared ambientCG materials reused across suitable rooms and future generations instead of producing duplicate material chains.

Fixed

  • Fitted kitchens now choose complete wall runs that fit the room without clipped cabinets, broken worktops or abrupt ends, while preserving safe access around doors, dining areas and appliances.
  • Living-room seating faces its media or conversation target, bedroom furniture preserves a usable bed route, and bathroom fixtures, luxury room equipment and circulation lanes are validated before the result is accepted.
  • Repeated apartment generation and test cleanup no longer rely on Blender's unstable nested `all_objects` iterator, preventing accumulated heavy scenes from crashing during replacement or removal.

August 28, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.132

Fixed

  • Apartment AI generation now requires fresh ambientCG structural finishes even when the saved fallback toggle was disabled, and stops instead of silently rebuilding with old local floor and wall materials.
  • Automatic apartment seeds and recent ambientCG asset IDs persist across new files and Blender restarts, including the final seed after fit retries, so the first post-update generation and subsequent generations cannot restart the old repeated sequence.

August 28, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.131

Improved

  • New apartment generations rotate through fresh ambientCG room finishes and keep floor, wall and wet-room surface purposes distinct.
  • Functional seating now faces its table, media unit or activity target, while fitted kitchens use the supplied modular cabinet run together with a real cooking module.
  • Ordinary apartments now rotate through reviewed GTA beds, wardrobes, nightstands, armchairs, TV consoles and rugs; kitchens place real microwave, kettle, teapot or toaster props, and laundry rooms use real washer/dryer variants.

Fixed

  • Bathrooms retain their complete shower, vanity, sink, storage and toilet composition when an optional asset fails, with tile finishes enforced on both floor and walls.
  • Generated hierarchy relationship lines no longer cover the viewport, oversized ceiling fans are excluded, and incomplete kitchens, bathrooms or orphaned furniture are rejected instead of being presented as successful results.

August 28, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.130

Improved

  • Two-floor apartment plans reserve a dedicated staircase bay with a separate circulation lane and distribute functional rooms across both levels.
  • Automatic kitchens prefer real GTA cooking and refrigerator assets and shift fitted runs away from doors and windows.

Fixed

  • Stair geometry now includes a complete flight and guardrails, collision collections are hidden recursively by default, and door and window casings use clean rectangular profiles.
  • Corrupt custom-asset cache entries rebuild atomically, while optional kitchen and bathroom composition failures fall back without losing the valid apartment plan.

August 28, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.129

Improved

  • Apartment retries reuse one stable Prop Browser catalog snapshot and its normalized generation metadata instead of repeatedly rescanning and reparsing the complete catalog for every room role.

Fixed

  • A fitted kitchen that blocks a door or window now identifies its room and immediately grows that room through bounded recovery, preventing eight long seed-only retries from ending without a generated interior.

August 28, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.128

Improved

  • Short apartment prompts now produce functional room and hallway sizes by default, while spacious prompts scale the whole residence and detailed prompts preserve explicit dimensions for each named room.
  • Fitted kitchens choose the first complete seed-driven layout that safely fits the room, reserve its footprint before loose furniture is placed and use visibly distinct wood, stone, ceramic and metal finishes.

Fixed

  • Apartment quality checks now reject cramped multi-door hallway clusters, and modern door openings use clean rectangular casing instead of distorted ornamental geometry.
  • Closed exterior fake doors now include a readable framed door panel while retaining the intact exterior shell required by the MLO contract.
  • Automatically composed kitchen requests remain attached to their generated apartment without leaking into the next new generation.

August 28, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.127

Added

  • Explicit residential prompts can generate two- or three-level homes with real stairs, floor openings and level-aware room connections, plus optional garages, terraces, pools, jacuzzis and accessible elevators.
  • Interior generation can use 11 physically verified kitchen modules and 14 bathroom modules from installed GTA V data, including additional refrigerators, cooking appliances, cupboards, toilets, sinks, a bathtub, shower screens and bathroom accessories.

Improved

  • Kitchens now combine verified extracted fitted runs with seed-driven stock cooking modules only when the complete composition fits; otherwise the validated legacy kitchen remains unchanged.
  • Bathrooms receive seed-driven toilet, sink and towel-rail variants with door-clearance checks and automatic fallback when the complete fixture set cannot fit.
  • Custom extracted resources retain their own YDR and BASE archetype in the generated interior YTYP, while stock GTA modules remain direct archetype references without duplicate YDR files.

Fixed

  • Multi-level and outdoor plans now preserve ceiling-light defaults, vertical connection lists, stair landing capacity, garage-door binding and outdoor ceiling validation across generation and export.
  • Prompts that explicitly exclude a hallway no longer receive one unless a vertical architecture contract actually requires structural circulation.

August 28, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.126

Added

  • Explicit luxury residence prompts can add a private bar, cinema, library, gym, billiards room, wine room, spa, sauna, powder room, staff room, security room and vault room.
  • Master and guest suite requests now preserve residential bedroom semantics, with an additional private bathroom only when an en-suite is requested.

Improved

  • Neutral apartment, penthouse and mansion prompts still produce only the five-room residential core.
  • Luxury furnishing roles use residential metadata and automatically adopt future verified props without falling back to commercial room substitutes.

August 28, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.125

Fixed

  • Interior generation no longer rejects valid ambientCG plaster ceilings merely because their physical material metadata includes a roughness tag.
  • Rough concrete, asphalt, flooring, carpet and other unsuitable ceiling surfaces remain blocked by the apartment quality gate.

August 28, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.124

Added

  • Apartment prompts can now explicitly request a dining room, home office, walk-in closet, pantry, laundry room, storage room, balcony or hobby room.
  • En-suite requests create an additional bathroom connected to its bedroom while retaining the shared bathroom.

Improved

  • Larger apartment programs receive additional layout variants, correctly sized halls and room-specific furniture, materials and ceiling details.
  • Newly approved residential props automatically participate through role-based room compatibility without requiring asset-name lists.

Fixed

  • The Blender generation bridge now preserves the complete ordered room program returned by the apartment planner instead of dropping optional rooms.
  • A failed placement recovery can grow the actual physical room associated with an intent room, allowing large apartment programs to replan correctly.

August 28, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.123

Added

  • Interior generation can materialize five verified bathroom and kitchen components from installed GTA V data: a wall urinal, toilet brush, soap dispenser, lower sink cabinet run and refrigerator body module.
  • Extracted components export as their own YDR resources with BASE archetypes in the generated interior YTYP, so entity references remain self-contained and streamable.

Improved

  • The residential resolver now includes additional approved GTA V toilets, a bathroom sink and refrigerators without duplicating them as custom resources.
  • Busy apartment halls reserve enough width for opposing door swings, and long-hall runners remain available as non-blocking floor details.

Fixed

  • Custom extraction now verifies donor hashes, selected geometry, texture dependencies and cache contents before committing any generated resource.

August 28, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.122

Fixed

  • A non-empty apartment-style prompt that does not name any rooms now generates the standard bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom and hallway instead of accepting a single-room model response.
  • Empty manual generation, explicit single-room requests, houses and public presets retain their existing programs.

August 28, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.121

Improved

  • Apartment bedrooms, living rooms and dining groups now use balanced, left-focused and right-focused composition families, so different seeds vary the furniture arrangement instead of only rotating the same layout.
  • Composition remains role-based and automatically supports future approved residential props without asset-name lists.

Fixed

  • A composition that does not fit now falls back only the affected room to its balanced arrangement without removing required furniture or enlarging the apartment.

August 27, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.120

Improved

  • Apartment generation now uses the completed visual Asset Intelligence catalog: 807 approved residential YDR profiles selected from 4,199 independently reviewed assets.
  • Dining seating, lounge seating, plants, tables and wall decor have broader seed-driven variety while retaining measured fit, room and placement constraints.

Fixed

  • Ceiling-mounted or tiny decorative plant parts can no longer fill a floor-plant slot.
  • Story-specific character photographs with only a generic wall-accent classification can no longer appear as ordinary apartment artwork.
  • The Interior release test runner now executes all four supported Sollumz combinations instead of allowing the compatibility matrix to run without an explicit version and namespace.

August 27, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.119

Improved

  • Full apartment assembly now takes about four seconds on a cold run and one to four seconds after in-session asset reuse, with enforced 30-second cold and 15-second warm budgets.
  • Apartment doors now come from a reviewed residential pool with distinct entry, privacy, glazed and accessible families instead of repeatedly using one door model.
  • Window and trim finish families now use their own diffuse, normal and specular textures with more natural surface variation and reliable Material Preview rendering.
  • Reviewed dining and lounge seating profiles now participate through granular roles without admitting generic or specialist seating into residential rooms.

Fixed

  • Update Active and Reroll now restore the complete previous apartment when generation, validation or export fails, including material bindings and recoverable ambientCG material cleanup.
  • Door swing volumes are validated against furniture, fixtures and other doors, preventing physically valid openings whose leaves cannot actually move.
  • Generated Interior textures now export as named embedded DDS samplers, preventing diffuse, normal or specular maps from disappearing in native GTA resources.
  • Missing YDR files, malformed XML and partial catalogs now try safe ranked fallbacks and return one precise terminal error instead of leaving a partial scene.

August 27, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.118

Improved

  • Apartment corridors now reserve at least two metres of usable width between finished wall faces instead of measuring the outer shell.
  • Apartment windows now use room-appropriate, seed-driven casement, double-hung, awning, picture, cross-frame and frosted bathroom designs with varied proportions and proper frame materials.
  • Bathrooms now receive a fitted vanity, worktop, ceramic basin and faucet instead of a generic freestanding sink prop.
  • Kitchens use varied cabinet widths and more reliable detailed donor extraction, while dining groups use actual residential tables and chairs.

Fixed

  • Kitchen extraction now selects the matching compound mesh rather than an arbitrary imported helper mesh, preventing detailed units from silently collapsing to crude fallback boxes.
  • Parquet and floor materials can no longer leak onto apartment window frames.
  • Yacht tables, bar stools and the unsuitable `prop_sink_02` can no longer substitute apartment dining and bathroom fixtures.

August 27, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.117

Improved

  • Apartment kitchens now use detailed fitted cabinet fronts, upper units, sink, hob and oven geometry extracted from an existing GTA kitchen set instead of relying only on simple box shapes.
  • Kitchens gain a correctly scaled tall oven cabinet, matched upper fronts and stricter completeness checks for essential fitted modules.

Fixed

  • If the detailed source model is unavailable or cannot be read, generation automatically keeps a complete procedural kitchen and records the technical cause privately instead of failing.

August 27, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.116

Improved

  • Apartment rooms now share one partition-wall topology: adjacent walls are emitted once on the exact room boundary, and corners and T-junctions are butt-joined instead of overlapping.
  • Each apartment uses a seed-driven design brief for coherent but varied floors, walls, ceilings, lighting, condition and palette; bathrooms retain wet-room finishes and clean homes receive a restrained decal budget.
  • Kitchens now include distinct fitted cabinets and fronts, segmented worktops, a recessed sink with rim and faucet, a cooktop with separate burners, backsplash, toe kick and appliance clearances.
  • Furniture variety is selected only after a complete physical fit check, preserving different beds, tables and compositions without replacing a valid compact layout with an oversized prop.

Fixed

  • A cancelled Blender build now passes its private physical failure reason to the free apartment replan loop, allowing later attempts to enlarge or simplify an unsolvable room while keeping raw errors out of the customer UI.
  • Shared apartment walls, corner joints and opening planes no longer occupy the same volume; the final validator rejects any remaining positive-volume wall intersection.
  • Real windows use transparent glass while Fake Windows use opaque reflective glazing, and imported wall art is snapped to the visible wall face after its real bounds are known.
  • Architectural decals preserve their intended shader and atlas strip, repeat at physical scale without stretching, and no longer cover every wall of clean apartments.
  • Saved apartment roots are resolved by persistent role metadata after reopening, preventing duplicate or missing hierarchy roots when Blender decorates object names.

August 27, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.115

Improved

  • Apartment kitchens are now built from readable lower cabinets with separate fronts and handles, a recessed toe kick, individual upper cabinets, a continuous worktop and a backsplash instead of one monolithic proxy block.
  • Cabinet fronts, cabinet bodies, worktops and metal hardware use distinct residential material families, giving warm-modern kitchens a deliberate fitted-furniture finish.

Fixed

  • The apartment quality gate now rejects kitchens that do not contain enough separate lower fronts or a toe kick, preventing a visually unfinished single-box kitchen from being accepted.

August 27, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.114

Improved

  • Apartment floor selection now treats recursively imported copies as one material family, preserving visible room-to-room variety instead of repeatedly choosing aliases of the same wood texture.
  • Dining chairs and stools are distributed around at least two sides of the table, long hallways retain a runner or wall detail, and every apartment keeps a minimum visual decor core during automatic recovery.
  • Apartment recovery now distinguishes composition failures from true physical no-fit failures. A composition retry changes the seed without enlarging every room or stripping furniture; room growth and density reduction are reserved for verified fit or collision problems.

Fixed

  • Asphalt, road, roofing, floor-only and rough surface materials can no longer be selected automatically for apartment walls or ceilings. Incompatible saved automatic bindings are replaced before generation.
  • A result can no longer pass the quality gate when a sofa does not face its media zone, all dining seats are clustered on one side, one copied floor finish dominates the apartment, a long hallway is completely empty, or all wall decor was removed.
  • Bathroom fixtures are no longer used as bedroom or living-room ceiling lights, and the tiny ceiling disc is no longer used as the only hallway fixture.

August 27, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.113

Improved

  • Apartment planning and physical furnishing now use up to eight free local recovery variants. Later variants progressively reduce optional density and enlarge rejected rooms toward a verified functional envelope.
  • Interior Generation keeps a bounded private `interior_generation_last.log` containing the phase, attempt and seed needed for diagnosis without storing the user's prompt or license data.

Fixed

  • A collision-free layout rejection during the preliminary material-planning phase can no longer bypass apartment replanning and appear immediately as `AI plan failed`.
  • Raw technical exceptions are no longer shown in the Interior customer status. Recoverable variants continue automatically; other operations use a neutral paused status while their details are written to the Interior log.
  • Successful generated and validation statuses no longer contain misleading text such as `0 errors`, which previously caused the native window to render a successful result in the error colour.

August 27, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.112

Improved

  • Apartment floors, walls and ceilings now vary by room and seed; bathrooms remain limited to suitable tile, marble, stone or concrete finishes even when a free-form prompt requests an unsuitable surface.
  • Apartment kitchens use dedicated cabinet, worktop, chrome, induction and metal material families instead of inheriting wall and floor materials. Safe dining tables and larger verified ceiling fixtures also vary across seeds.
  • Advanced Settings now begins with Fake Windows: enabled windows keep the wall closed and use opaque reflective glazing; disabled windows create a true wall opening with transparent glass.

Fixed

  • Wall paintings are snapped to the actual inside wall face after import instead of floating away from it.
  • Long grime and architectural decals repeat their UVs by physical length and retain exact decal shaders instead of stretching one texture across a wall.
  • Apartment ceilings no longer select broad concrete floor or wall surfaces merely because their names contain a generic material term.

August 27, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.111

Improved

  • Apartments now draw from a wider physically measured furniture pool, including more complete beds, wardrobes, refrigerators, sofas, coffee tables, safe dining tables, bedside tables and kitchen stools.
  • Different apartment seeds vary both the floor plan and close-quality furniture choices, while compact rooms keep the safest space-efficient candidates.
  • Clean cloud installations retain each prop's three measured dimensions, giving apartment planning the same scale and clearance checks as the local catalog.

Fixed

  • Apartment compilation now uses the selected prop's real measured footprint instead of reverting to a preset proxy size, preventing valid compact layouts from failing after preflight.
  • Legacy catalog entries without an importable physical model and semantically unsuitable small decor are rejected before generation, avoiding unnecessary replans and nonsensical objects.
  • Oversized yacht beds and unsafe generic tables remain excluded; visually verified standalone tables can serve as apartment dining tables without changing other generation presets.

August 26, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.110

Improved

  • Material Editor, Prop Browser and AI Generation now show an update warning inside their native window whenever a newer MLOStudio version is available. The same control downloads and verifies the update, then changes to a confirmed Blender restart action when installation is ready.
  • Apartment material fallback now checks exact words and surface compatibility, so a request such as `warm` cannot match `warning` signage and one ambientCG surface is not recycled across unrelated rooms or structural roles.

Fixed

  • Existing apartment bindings made by the older ambientCG resolver are revalidated and replaced when their original asset category is incompatible, preventing signs from becoming floors and wood-floor textures from being reused as walls, ceilings or light-fixture materials.

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.109

Improved

  • Apartment prop selection now applies room-clearance and absolute residential-size limits to every import fallback, using physical catalog dimensions even when older generated metadata has incomplete size fields.
  • Apartment bedrooms and living rooms can use four deterministic composition orientations instead of two. Bathrooms add a compact wall cabinet and towel rail without changing public presets.
  • The apartment quality report now measures floor-plan efficiency and room-by-room furnishing occupancy, rejecting wasteful envelopes and underfurnished functional rooms.

Fixed

  • Compact kitchens use the measured `prop_table_04` dining group instead of falling through to oversized round or three-metre tables.
  • A failed apartment variant is reported as an internal replan warning while another free attempt remains; early plan failures no longer leak a secondary exception or appear as the final generation error.
  • Explicit compact-room retries begin bounded resizing one attempt earlier, reducing the poor/dark acceptance scenario from three replans to two while preserving the requested functional core.

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.108

Improved

  • The final apartment quality gate now requires every retained furnishing role to resolve to a real physical Prop Browser asset. Unavailable optional decor is removed with a diagnostic adjustment instead of remaining as an empty export slot.

Fixed

  • An unavailable mandatory bed, storage, kitchen, living-room or bathroom prop now rejects the local variant and enters the existing free replan path instead of silently accepting a functionally incomplete apartment.
  • A missing or outdated Prop Browser catalog now produces a clear apartment prerequisite error without consuming a generation; public presets retain their previous behavior.

August 26, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.107

Fixed

  • Apartment Open Portal generation now preserves intentionally empty door-prop slots as clean structural openings while still falling back across ranked candidates for real asset import failures.

August 26, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.106

Added

  • Apartments now pass a measurable quality gate covering connected circulation, functional room cores, collision-free furnishing, fitted kitchen and bathroom modules, architectural details and excessive repetition.
  • Three compact residential floor-plan strategies and seed-driven furnishing choices create visibly different apartment layouts and compositions.

Improved

  • Kitchens include a fitted sink, worktop, cabinets, stove, hood, dining table and facing seats; living rooms compose the sofa toward the media unit, and bedrooms retain beds, paired nightstands and storage.
  • Residential prop selection now rejects oversized or wrongly classified candidates and can fall through to another eligible physical asset when the first source cannot be imported.
  • Apartments receive room-appropriate sockets, switches, ventilation, radiators, smoke detectors, ceiling details and decorative accents.

Fixed

  • A failed apartment quality check, physical import, measured collision layout, validation or local build now automatically replans up to four variants inside the same reservation. Only a successfully built apartment consumes one generation.
  • Compact apartments no longer abort on an oversized bed/furniture combination: retries reduce optional density, choose smaller eligible props and use a bounded last-resort room adjustment while preserving the functional core.
  • Missing optional apartment decal textures no longer stall generation behind repeated long extraction timeouts.

August 26, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.105

Improved

  • Apartment hallways now use a comfortable 2.0 metre shell width and remain clear of random furniture. Residential layouts can connect living rooms and kitchens directly instead of forcing every room door onto one institutional corridor.
  • Apartment room graphs are always connected, bathrooms remain direct hallway leaves, bedrooms stay non-pass-through by default, and the fake exterior entry remains in the hallway.
  • Failed client-side planning, material preparation, physical GTA prop placement, validation and cancelled builds now release their reservation instead of consuming a generation. Quota is committed only after a complete valid scene is built.

Fixed

  • Public presets retain their released corridor layout; the new residential graph is applied only to explicit apartment intent.
  • Validation errors now report the first concrete failure and missing element identity instead of only an error count.

August 26, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.104

Improved

  • Apartment prompts now start from a complete residential program: one bedroom, one living room, one kitchen, one bathroom and one hallway. Explicit quantities replace only the named room type, so a bare `2 bedrooms` or `2 спальни` request keeps every other default room.
  • Default apartment shells use compact residential dimensions instead of oversized preset rooms. Bathrooms retain enough space for a collision-free toilet and sink across varying layouts, while corridors stay narrow and proportional.

Fixed

  • Malformed or incomplete AI room lists can no longer remove unnamed apartment essentials or inject unrelated duplicated rooms.
  • Bedroom wording inside an explicitly public-building prompt no longer reclassifies that scenario as an apartment.

August 26, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.103

Improved

  • Explicit apartment requests stay residential even when the AI model proposes a commercial preset, and inferred room programs always retain a functional kitchen, bathroom and circulation room while preserving repeated bedrooms and living rooms.
  • Every completed AI request advances the seed. Apartment seeds now vary room sides, furnishing compositions and top-ranked cosmetic props, so repeated rooms and consecutive generations no longer clone the same layout, plant and wall art.
  • Apartment furnishing degrades gracefully when real GTA prop bounds do not fit: compact eligible alternatives are tried first, then expendable decor is removed while beds, storage, kitchen essentials, toilets, sinks, seating and televisions remain.

Fixed

  • Model-invented room dimensions are ignored unless the user explicitly writes dimensions, preventing oversized kitchens, bathrooms and empty residential cells.
  • Compact bathrooms no longer fail when an opposing decorative window leaves no valid space around the entry and fitted shower; the window yields to the toilet and sink instead of aborting the whole apartment.

August 26, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.102

Fixed

  • A hallway explicitly requested in a residential prompt now owns the room circulation layout for every style preset. Compact bathrooms remain fixed-size destination rooms instead of becoming impossible pass-through rooms with two opposing door lanes, so ordinary multi-room apartment generation no longer fails with a collision-free furnishing error.

August 25, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.101

Improved

  • Grime decals now use transparent single-quad carriers, follow every skirting segment and the full upper cornice, and sample narrow low-contrast atlas bands instead of appearing as short black strips.
  • Repeated living rooms use room-specific composition seeds and varied compact plants, while wall art is restricted to an actual solid wall rather than an omitted circulation boundary.
  • A requested hallway owns the single fake exterior entry door in closed interiors.

Fixed

  • Interior detail materials validate the real Sollumz shader before reuse, so an older same-named `default.sps` material can no longer replace `decal.sps` or `decal_normal_only.sps` on a new generation.
  • Packed procedural decal fallbacks preserve their alpha after saving and reopening a `.blend`; normal-only decal carriers remain invisible in Blender while retaining their exact GTA export shader and samplers.

August 25, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.100

Added

  • Residential living rooms now include a television, varied wall art and compact edge-placed plants; kitchens receive fitted cabinets, worktops, backsplash and sink geometry, while bathrooms receive an exportable shower module as part of the shell.
  • AI requests can specify per-room dimensions and casement, double-hung, cross or institutional windows. Explicit floor colours such as red create a packed, exportable tinted copy of the closest local material without modifying the Material Library.

Improved

  • Multi-room plans preserve authored or requested room dimensions instead of forcing symmetric rows, and compact bathrooms use a practical fixed default unless the prompt says otherwise.
  • Rich/poor and bright/dark wording remains part of prop and lighting selection. Floor, wall and ceiling UV scale is larger, upper residential trim follows the wall by default, and grime bands are broad, even and subtle.
  • Clean residential normal-only decals stay on flat wall faces; alpha grime decals occupy corners. Missing decal maps may be extracted quietly from the user's local game data, with packed export-safe fallback maps when unavailable.

Fixed

  • Door wall cuts are now slightly wider and taller than the unchanged wooden casing, preventing the doorway shell from intersecting the visible frame.
  • Skirting ignores removed open-plan walls and keeps direction-aware UVs. Plants no longer rank a missing corridor wall and therefore no longer drift into the centre of the room.

August 25, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.99

Fixed

  • Interior generation no longer fails when a curated trim or decal DDS is not present in the local Game Data cache.
  • Required architectural details keep their Sollumz shader and sampler contract through deterministic packed fallback textures, avoiding repeated full-game texture scans while preserving exportable skirting, frames, switches, vents, signs, and decals.

August 25, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.98

Added

  • Interior presets now create room-appropriate sockets, light switches, wall and ceiling vents, public-area signs, ceiling details, and short grime decals above the skirting and below the upper trim.
  • Clean residential presets place the `tl_v_recycle_decal_normal` corner treatment on both faces of every room corner using the exact GTA `decal_normal_only.sps` sampler and parameter contract.

Improved

  • Skirting, door casing, and window casing now use curated trim textures with metric, direction-aware UVs. Opposite walls flip their profile and texture direction so moulding faces into the room instead of into the wall.
  • LSPD, city hall, hospital, bar, restaurant, modern, Russian, and American presets now select their own architectural-detail material templates while preserving explicit user material bindings.

Fixed

  • Shared room walls no longer lose their skirting or upper trim when wall ownership is assigned to the adjacent room; trim-only segments retain the exact doorway cut.
  • Door casing now touches the fitted doorway without a white halo, detached header, or full-atlas stripes around the jambs.

August 25, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.97

Added

  • AI Generation now includes complete room programs and furnishing rules for LSPD stations, city halls, hospitals, bars, and restaurants, with corridors, storage, service rooms, wall art, rugs, tabletop decor, decals, and scenario-matched props.
  • Open Portal generation now derives its shell from the selected exterior bounds and preserves every selected four-vertex portal exactly for export-ready door and window connections.

Improved

  • Physical GTA props use measured bounding boxes, directional metadata, functional facing targets, circulation lanes, and denser composition rules. Seating faces its desk, table, counter, or living-room group, while ceiling fixtures are placed from their real bbox and enforce minimum headroom.
  • Floors and architectural surfaces resolve per room from tagged MLOStudio or ambientCG materials. Wall, ceiling, upper trim, lower trim, door casing, glass, and floor roles remain distinct; trim meshes now use profiled, smoothed geometry with metric UVs.
  • Windows now include casing, sash, dividers, sill, and glass, and door openings use fitted profiled casing. Teleport interiors receive a fake entrance door and full-green structural vertex colour by default.

Fixed

  • Rerolling an interior now treats locked physical props as fixed world-space obstacles instead of placing regenerated furniture through them.
  • Imported prop cleanup retains the complete selected Sollumz hierarchy, Open Portal door casing stays inside the exterior bounds, and resource-path fields support normal selection, copy, and paste without a Win32 clipboard type error.
  • Room-scoped ambientCG floors no longer collapse into one shared material, and generated MLO archetype, collision, room shell, deta, YTYP, YMAP, manifest, and final resource names stay synchronized.

August 25, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.96

Fixed

  • Converted Sollumz material bindings are now synchronized into every generated room. Retrying AI generation with an older editable ambientCG floor binding no longer leaves a stale non-Sollumz room copy or fails during shell creation.
  • Room-scoped automatic prop candidates no longer shadow a verified global preset or manually selected prop. American House generation therefore keeps its extractable TV cabinet instead of selecting an unavailable console asset.

Improved

  • The American House quality regression now runs the real `mlostudio.interior_generate` operator with a deliberately stale persisted floor binding, complete prop resolution, physical GTA imports, scene validation, `.blend` save, and visual render.

August 25, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.95

Fixed

  • ambientCG floor, wall, ceiling, and trim searches now retry concise preset keywords when the descriptive query returns no results. Preset-only requests such as `wood floor surface` therefore resolve through the live catalog correctly.
  • An empty or temporarily unavailable ambientCG result no longer cancels a valid AI interior. Generation continues with tagged local materials or role-specific export-ready defaults and reports that the local fallback was used.

August 25, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.94

Added

  • American House interiors now use a central hallway, support repeated room requests such as two bedrooms, and generate a complete connected house program instead of a linear room chain.
  • Internal doorways now include export-ready casing, coffee tables and bedroom surfaces receive physical GTA book/decor props, and every room uses a physical GTA ceiling fixture together with its Sollumz light.

Improved

  • Upper trim stays continuous above doors and prefers concrete; lower trim and door casing prefer the curated Window Frame material. Broad user-material names no longer suppress role-tagged ambientCG fallback for walls, floors, and ceilings.
  • Teleport windows use a residential size, frame and glass on an intact wall. Teleport entry doors are now intentionally fake, while Open Portal openings still cut the shell exactly at their assigned vertices.

Fixed

  • Room quantities from AI prompts are no longer collapsed into boolean room-type flags.
  • Unequal multi-room dimensions no longer leave missing wall sections, and door props now align to the opening in all three axes.
  • Removed the unapproved shower fallback and replaced non-extractable American House preset props with physical GTA assets verified in Blender.

August 24, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.93

Improved

  • Complete native Interior resource export now supports both Sollumz 2.8.3 and 2.9.0, including stable and development add-on namespaces.

Fixed

  • Sollumz 2.8.3 is no longer rejected by the AI Generation preflight. MLOStudio uses the matching Sollumz 2.8 export APIs for YDR, YBN, and YTYP and the configured CodeWalker installation for the binary MLO YMAP.

August 24, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.92

Added

  • Generated rooms now include a visible ceiling fixture together with the exported Sollumz point light, and generated windows always include a frame and glass pane.
  • Prop generation metadata now records the model front axis. GTA furniture uses its native `-Y` direction by default, while reviewed exceptions can provide another axis or an explicit yaw offset.

Improved

  • Walls, baseboards, upper cornices, window frames, ceilings, floors, and light fixtures now resolve independent tagged materials instead of collapsing onto one surface. Local MLOStudio materials remain first choice, with role-specific ambientCG fallback and prompt tags when needed.
  • Resource name, folder, and prompt fields in AI Generation now provide a real caret, mouse selection, Home/End, arrow navigation, Delete, Backspace, Ctrl+A, and copy, cut, and paste.
  • Teleport Interior shell and deta geometry now use full-green Sollumz vertex colour by default.

Fixed

  • Furniture and opening props now face into their room instead of into the wall.
  • The standard door cut now fits the physical `apa_p_mp_door_04` dimensions, and each shared wall owns one aligned door rather than two coincident copies.
  • A bedroom's exterior window is no longer left on the shared bathroom wall; it moves to a free exterior wall while keeping its frame and glass.
  • The generated MLO archetype, physics dictionary, Bound Composite, and YBN now share the same canonical resource name.
  • Choosing a Resource Folder no longer raises a `c_wchar_Array_32768` / `c_wchar_p` Win32 type error.

August 24, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.91

Improved

  • Interior prop selection now uses the existing style, context, condition, price, material, palette, visual-audit, and real-dimension metadata as one room design brief. Russian and English prompt terms such as dark wood, premium, worn, or damaged now affect furnishing choices as well as surface materials.
  • The resolver now checks ranked real-size candidate combinations before importing GTA meshes, choosing the highest-quality set that physically fits the complete room instead of retrying one oversized item at a time.
  • Furniture layout now groups functional pairs such as beds and nightstands, sofas and coffee tables, counters and sinks, and dining tables and stools, while preferring usable circulation space where the room allows it.
  • Generation metadata adds explicit palette, visual weight, interaction, and multiplicity tags for clearer Prop Browser auditing and deterministic future ranking.

Fixed

  • Damaged, derelict, and worn prop variants are no longer selected by default when a clean eligible alternative exists. They remain available when that condition is explicitly requested in the prompt.
  • Dense rooms no longer report that no candidate combination fits when a lower-ranked compact eligible set can satisfy the room bounds, portal clearances, and collision rules.

August 24, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.90

Added

  • AI Generation is now the third native MLOStudio workspace beside Material Editor and Prop Browser. Its Start Imagining screen offers Teleport Interior and Open Portal Interior workflows without adding another Blender sidebar panel.
  • Open Portal Interior builds the complete interior inside the selected exterior mesh bounds and preserves every assigned doorway or portal as an exact four-vertex world-space opening.
  • Generated resources now include Sollumz-ready Archetypes, per-room collections with linked physical GTA props, Collision, shell and deta drawables, YTYP, YMAP, binary manifest, and fxmanifest files. Automatic export can publish the complete resource atomically to the selected folder.
  • Interior materials can use the tagged local catalog and fetch tagged ambientCG fallbacks when enabled.

Improved

  • Furnishing placement now evaluates denser collision-free arrangements and real imported dimensions, including the previously failing kitchen counter, sink, fridge, dining table, and bar stool combination.
  • YMAP and Manifest generation remain available in the main MLOStudio sidebar. Full interior export validates Blender-to-binary entity parity and the final folder before replacing an existing generated resource.

Requirements

  • Complete native binary interior export requires Sollumz 2.9.0. Sollumz 2.8.x can still build and inspect the generated hierarchy, while automatic export stops safely before scene mutation with a clear compatibility message.

August 24, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.89

Improved

  • The Interiors panel now keeps the prompt, generation button, live stage, progress bar, and current generation balance together at the top. Manual controls are reduced to one closed Advanced section, and the AI-owned preset selector is no longer shown.
  • Generated rooms now include separate UV-mapped lower baseboards and upper wall cornices, split cleanly around door openings. Ceilings remain separate detail geometry and prefer a concrete finish.
  • Standard single-door openings now use one verified physical GTA door asset across room styles.

Fixed

  • Automatic furnishing selection now rejects catalog entries that have no canonical GTA YDR, YDD, or YFT locator, preventing failures such as `prop_bar_stool_01_n: no canonical GTA locator is available`.
  • The AI generation balance is applied as soon as the prompt response returns, before physical props are loaded, so the panel no longer keeps showing the previous count during the build.

August 24, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.88

Fixed

  • MLOStudio Interiors now prepares each automatically selected GTA model through the same Game Data pipeline as Prop Browser and imports its real polygon mesh. Missing physical sources stop with a clear error instead of silently creating wireframe bounding-box proxies.
  • Preview-audited furnishing defaults now outrank incidental name matches such as wall art ending in `bed`, preventing oversized or unrelated candidates from breaking otherwise valid bedroom layouts after their real dimensions are measured.
  • Generic room prompts now generate one room, while house, home, cottage, apartment, and equivalent Russian prompts generate a multi-room program instead of allowing the model to choose an unrelated single bathroom.

August 24, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.87

Added

  • MLOStudio Interiors now accepts Russian or English prompts and turns them into a controlled room or multi-room plan before the existing generator selects eligible props and materials. Explicit dimensions, furnishing density, colors, and surface preferences are preserved when supported.
  • Every license key includes 100 successful AI interior generations. The current balance appears in Blender and can also be checked securely on the MLOStudio website without activating another device; failed model or network requests do not consume the allowance.

Improved

  • Interior prompts are handled by a private lightweight model hosted by MLOStudio. It creates plan settings only and cannot execute commands, request arbitrary local files, or bypass the generation-ready prop catalog.
  • The website now documents the Interior AI workflow and shows standard pricing after the launch offer ended.

August 24, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.86

Improved

  • MLO Interiors now selects automatic props only from the generation-ready catalog, matching the exact room role and room type before ranking style and real dimensions. Props marked for review remain available for an explicit manual choice, while excluded props are never selected automatically.
  • Existing automatic prop bindings are safely refreshed under the new catalog rules without replacing manual choices or preset-approved assets. Multiple ranked eligible candidates remain available for geometry retries when the first imported model does not fit.
  • Kitchen and bathroom layouts now use preview-audited compact defaults and room dimensions verified against the imported geometry, preventing oversized composite scene pieces from breaking a four-room interior.

August 24, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.85

Improved

  • MLO Interiors now has a focused generation-ready core for beds, seating, tables, storage, office furniture and technology, documents, small decor, and interior doors, based on the visually reviewed Prop Browser categories.
  • Generator metadata now includes style, context, condition, price tier, materials, palette, composition layer, size and visual weight, interaction intent, clearance, and multiplicity. These details remain visible in Prop cards, Prop Info, and native hover while the catalog is audited.
  • Ambiguous assemblies, component meshes, unusual variants, oversized assets, and doors that still require pivot verification remain separated for review instead of being silently selected by a future generator.

August 24, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.84

Improved

  • All 18,009 Prop Browser assets now carry versioned MLO Interiors metadata that separates generator-ready props from assets requiring review or exclusion, including semantic roles, room compatibility, placement, dimensions, confidence, and normalized generation tags.
  • Prop cards, Prop Info, and native hover details temporarily show the new generation status and metadata so the classifications can be audited before interior generators begin consuming them.

August 22, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.83

Fixed

  • Props fetched from Prop Browser or GTA Game Data by Download Missing Props from YTYP now use the normal placement result: one flattened mesh without an artificial parent or child hierarchy. Ready archetype assets imported from the selected Stream Folder continue to preserve their Sollumz root hierarchy.

August 21, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.82

Fixed

  • The Collisions collection now contains only the MLO interior collision asset; embedded collision bounds remain inside their owning base archetype hierarchy in Archetypes.

August 21, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.81

Fixed

  • Sollumz capsule light sources now remain in Archetypes instead of being mistaken for capsule collision bounds and moved into Collisions.

August 20, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.80

Fixed

  • Sollumz prop duplication and deletion synchronization now remains active after opening another Blender project.

August 20, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.79

Fixed

  • Props restored with Download Missing Props from YTYP now stay synchronized with Sollumz when duplicated or deleted in the Blender scene.
  • Imported YTYP collision hierarchies now appear in a separate Collisions collection beside Rooms and Archetypes for quick visibility control.

August 20, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.78

Improved

  • Required MLOStudio updates now display a prominent startup warning with the installed and latest versions, the server-provided reason, and a direct Download & Install button. The warning returns on every Blender launch until the required update is installed.

August 20, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.77

Fixed

  • YTYP prop recovery now preserves the authoritative transforms of valid Sollumz-linked objects, preventing portal and room props from being replaced at the origin when their fallback entity position fields are still at defaults.

August 16, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.76

Fixed

  • Curated base-material presets now populate their real Sollumz sampler nodes and embed the extracted DDS textures instead of exporting white placeholder textures.
  • Room compilation now preserves global and room-specific door asset overrides, so generated opening assets keep the Prop Browser selection.
  • MLO YMAP Maker now resolves adjacent custom YTYP resource names during generation and local inspection instead of reporting a known archetype as `hash_XXXXXXXX`.
  • The native Texture Library tab stays visibly selected while choosing a source map, and duplicate sampler rows such as a second Add Detail action are collapsed.
  • Texture Library categories are now the permanent GTA sampler types Diffuse, Normal, Specular, Detail, and Environment; user-created organizational categories are shown and managed as folders.
  • Choosing a source texture from a material slot opens the Texture Library already filtered to that sampler category while preserving independent folder organization.

August 16, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.75

Fixed

  • Native text fields now support word selection by double-click, drag/keyboard selection, and copy, cut, and paste; new material names can be entered normally.
  • Prop and ambientCG page labels can be clicked to enter a page number, while Left/Right move by page instead of changing the selected card.
  • Prop Browser pages now use the exact visible capacity and no longer show an empty or short page before later populated pages.
  • Prop Browser hides during interactive placement and restores when placement finishes.
  • Source Map slots can be removed while empty, Roughness is no longer offered as a GTA shader slot, and texture drag-and-drop no longer leaves orange or stale slot highlighting.
  • Assigning a texture keeps the Textures tab, search, and scroll position instead of jumping back to Materials.
  • Newly created materials now start with their own shader defaults instead of inheriting sliders from the previously active material.
  • Cancelled Blender actions now retain their specific status instead of replacing it with a generic cancellation error.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.74

Fixed

  • Each prop linked or unlinked through Sollumz now receives or removes its own green marker directly in the Blender Outliner. The marker is event-driven, does not color collections or the 3D View, and is excluded from exported asset names.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.73

Fixed

  • Props linked through Sollumz now receive a clearly visible green viewport outline in every shading mode, without changing their export names or requiring a specific Color Type setting.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.72

Fixed

  • Existing Blender scenes now remove the old linked-prop name marker automatically after updating, before the next YDR export.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.71

Fixed

  • Linked YTYP props now keep their real asset names during YDR export; the green link status remains a Blender-only viewport indicator.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.70

Fixed

  • Generated MLO YMAPs now use the working CodeWalker collision structure, including the physics dictionary, HD LOD settings, and bounds calculated from interior entities and their available archetype bounds.
  • Position and quaternion rotation can now be pasted directly from CodeWalker as comma-separated values.
  • A separate Update Bounds Only action recalculates existing MLO YMAP extents while preserving all other map content.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.69

Improved

  • Material Brightness now has a balanced adjustment range: stronger than the recent light range without returning to the previous overly aggressive response.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.68

Added

  • A new Generate MLO YMAPs tool creates one binary placement YMAP for every interior YTYP in a selected folder using the position and Z rotation you enter.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.67

Improved

  • When a newer MLOStudio version is available, Updates & Refresh now opens automatically and displays a prominent `NEED UPDATE` warning with the installed and latest versions.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.66

Fixed

  • Changing a material from a mirror shader back to a regular shader now clears the Blender-only chrome viewport values instead of leaving a stale mirror appearance.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.65

Improved

  • GTA mirror shaders now receive an automatic polished chrome representation in Blender, including material-level viewport colour, metallic and roughness values plus a reflective Principled surface.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.64

Fixed

  • Native material, texture, prop and ambientCG search fields now support standard copy, cut and paste while preserving mouse or keyboard text selections.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.63

Fixed

  • Built materials now show their already baked RGB, brightness, contrast and saturation exactly once in Blender instead of applying the adjustments a second time to the viewport graph.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.62

Improved

  • Material, texture, prop and ambientCG searches now support visible text selection with the mouse, Shift navigation and Ctrl+A.
  • Base Color sliders use a finer adjustment range so small pointer movements produce controlled changes.
  • The Material Editor now includes a `To Active Material` shortcut beside `Top`.

Fixed

  • Preview, saved thumbnails and Build now apply base-color adjustments in the same order: RGB first, followed by brightness, contrast, saturation and the remaining corrections.
  • Built Sollumz materials now retain their Blender viewport graph even when the editable GTA preview look is disabled, preventing otherwise valid game materials from appearing white in Blender.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.61

Fixed

  • ambientCG materials now start with their own neutral adjustment values instead of inheriting sliders, detail-map choices or shader tuning from the previously active material.
  • Import as Material now immediately projects the imported recipe in the Material Editor and applies it to selected Edit Mode faces with the same behavior as the standard Apply Material action.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.60

Improved

  • The full hierarchy import action is now named `Import Full Asset` in both the Prop and Guns browsers.
  • Material deletion confirmation now uses the direct `Delete` and `Cancel` actions.

Fixed

  • Source Maps now repaint every compatible slot as soon as a texture drag starts and present the hovered drop target in the same pointer event.
  • Switching the active material now synchronously presents the new ACTIVE card and clears the old label without requiring mouse movement.

August 15, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.59

Fixed

  • Active material labels and Source Maps drop highlights now repaint immediately after the action, without waiting for another mouse movement.
  • Every visible part of a Prop Browser card now activates Place, including the preview, card background and name area.

August 14, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.58

Fixed

  • Download Missing Props now restores readable names for hashed Sollumz archetypes, scene objects and entity references while keeping linked texture, physics and drawable dictionary names synchronized when they can be resolved.
  • Short unpadded hashes such as `hash_163f35c` now resolve to matching custom models in the selected Stream Folder.
  • GTA entities referenced only by a hash now use the readable archetype and asset names returned by Game Data instead of creating `hash_...` objects.

August 14, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.57

Fixed

  • ambientCG materials now show readable source-map filenames instead of internal Texture Library identifiers.
  • Dragging a texture highlights its matching Source Maps slot in green and the other available slots in yellow.
  • Applying a material clears the previous card's Apply overlay immediately, without waiting for mouse movement.
  • Download Missing Props from YTYP now resolves `hash_XXXXXXXX` references for both stream archetypes and GTA entities.

August 14, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.56

Improved

  • The American House interior preset now produces a clean 13 × 13 metre square floor plan with four rooms, one shared wall per boundary and real-scale door and window openings.
  • American House generation now uses a curated residential prop and material profile, places matching door models in the openings, creates exterior window portals and embeds archetype textures.

Fixed

  • Interior doors are now attached to their corresponding Sollumz portals instead of being exported as ordinary room entities.
  • Real prop bounding boxes now fit around door and window circulation without duplicate wall collision or false boundary rejection.

August 14, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.55

Added

  • The Guns tab now contains the complete canonical GTA V and DLC weapon catalog: 564 weapon and component models, including melee weapons, grenades, mines, throwables, magazines, sights, suppressors, grips, flashlights, finishes and other attachments.

August 14, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.54

Added

  • Prop Browser now has a second Guns tab with 81 base-game and DLC firearm models, search, DLC filtering and on-demand cached previews.

August 14, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.53

Fixed

  • ambientCG once again uses all columns that fit the current window instead of being limited to four.
  • A prop receives its linked Outliner marker immediately after Sollumz Add Entity, even when no room or portal has been assigned yet.

August 14, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.52

Fixed

  • Material Editor and Prop Browser now remain visible when Blender receives focus, including during prop placement.
  • Material cards keep their catalog position. Selecting or editing a material scrolls it into view and marks it as ACTIVE instead of moving it to the first slot.
  • Fixed draggable and clickable catalog scrollbars, the resize cursor between the catalog and inspector, duplicate material cards, and the oversized Place overlay.
  • ambientCG now uses the same four-column, two-row page layout as the material catalog.
  • Sollumz room and portal links now color the actual prop hierarchy instead of its folder, and removing an entity with the Sollumz minus button clears that visual state.

August 14, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.51

Improved

  • Materials, Textures and ambientCG now use one graphite segmented control with a stronger blue selected state, while Import Textures remains a separate orange action on every tab.
  • The Material Editor toolbar gives Search the most room, keeps Category and Filters compact, adds Custom, Base Materials, Favorites, Recent and Clear All, and exposes calm New Category and contextual red Delete Category actions.
  • Material cards use larger names, darker preview mattes, clearer hover borders and blue selection; the inspector now separates Material Setup, Source Maps, Adjustments and the sticky Save / Build block.
  • Material Editor opens with two rows of four cards, Prop Browser opens with three rows of five cards, and the catalog scrollbar thumb can be dragged directly.

Fixed

  • YTYP prop restoration now captures every newly imported Sollumz object, including companion lights, inside the archetype hierarchy instead of leaving orphan lights in the parent collection.
  • Restored archetype collision objects now stay in the `Archetypes` collection with their asset instead of being moved to the YTYP root.

August 14, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.50

Improved

  • Material Editor keeps Category and Search at the front of the compact toolbar, removes the unused top gap, keeps the full title visible, and supports resizing the inspector divider.
  • Material and texture text fields support replace-all editing; material previews update during slider drags at a throttled live rate and refresh consistently on Save or material switch.
  • Master materials transparently become editable copies on the first map/slider edit or Save, with a visible confirmation, while the primary orange action remains Save and Build stays in its menu.
  • Prop Browser places category, search, filters, placement settings and pagination on one row, removes Select and Advanced Tools, and adds global configurable shortcuts for both native browsers.
  • YTYP restore now creates exactly `YTYP / Rooms / <room>` and `YTYP / Archetypes`, keeps collision under the YTYP root, orders Limbo first and Portal Props last, and uses Blender's green collection color tag.

Fixed

  • Native library windows no longer close from ordinary content clicks or hand Rename back to Blender's legacy dialog.
  • Creating an empty category no longer filters the entire catalog to zero results.
  • Material copies keep their preview and pipeline stamp and are pinned to the first catalog position immediately.
  • Category popup rows receive hover/clicks independently of cards behind them in Materials, Textures and ambientCG.
  • Import Textures works directly from ambientCG, Source Map assignment returns to the material, and Map Type exposes only Diffuse, Normal, Specular, Roughness, Environment and Detail.
  • Partial inspector, status and title repaints reuse the catalog backbuffer instead of redrawing every visible card and preview.

August 14, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.49

Improved

  • Native library windows now retain their DIB content, repaint only changed regions during interaction, cache card/control hit-testing, and stop animation timers as soon as transitions complete.
  • ambientCG search, category, and pagination now form one compact toolbar instead of attaching page controls to the right edge.
  • Category management uses an explicit `New Category` action beside the selector, restores RMB deletion, and no longer exposes `Custom` or `Base Material` as categories.
  • Export Folder now separates the read-only path from an unmistakable `Choose Folder…` button, with delayed full-path help for truncated values.

Fixed

  • Native cards and window chrome now confirm actions on mouse release inside the same target, preventing unrelated clicks from triggering actions or closing a window.
  • Add Source Map now creates a compatible material when none is active. Diffuse creates a Default material; Specular creates a Spec material with empty Diffuse and Specular slots.
  • Diffuse is accepted by the Add Source Map operator, removing the ambientCG `enum "diffuse" not found` failure.

August 14, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.48

Improved

  • Material Editor and Prop Browser now use a calmer graphite layout with stable search, category, grid, scrollbar, primary action, and bottom status positions.
  • Library cards show only preview and name, with delayed technical tooltips, clear hover/selected/pressed/placement/disabled states, compact filters, keyboard navigation, and independent Select/Apply/Place zones.
  • Material editing now keeps Source Maps open, groups advanced controls into session-persistent disclosures, and presents one context-aware Save or Build action with additional build variants in a compact menu.
  • Drag-and-drop now uses a smaller ghost preview, compatibility-aware Source Map highlighting, reinforced drop targets, and a short success pulse. Loading cards are static skeletons and ready previews fade in without changing grid geometry.

August 14, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.47

Improved

  • Room/portal-linked parent objects now show a visible `🟢` prefix in Blender's Scene Collection. The Sollumz archetype name remains unchanged for export, and unassigned objects have no marker.

August 14, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.46

Improved

  • Parent objects linked by the YTYP loader or Sollumz `Add Object(s) as Entity` are marked green when attached to a room or portal. Unattached entities remain uncolored. The Sollumz integration is an event-specific operator hook with no polling or recurring checks.

Fixed

  • Repeated internal stream archetypes now receive separate room instances. When their imported entity transforms are zeroed, MLOStudio restores the missing room offsets from matching Sollumz portal geometry instead of stacking them at the first room or sharing one visual.
  • Existing overlapping objects from earlier loader runs are replaced at their recovered room transforms while external GTA props continue using their authored entity transforms.

August 13, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.45

Improved

  • Restored YTYP content now uses a clear `YTYP → Archetype → Assets / Rooms` collection hierarchy, separating the YTYP name from its `_col` MLO archetype name.

Fixed

  • Room entities that reference the same archetype at the same transform now share one Sollumz-linked visual across their room collections instead of creating overlapping duplicate objects.
  • Re-running the loader consolidates previously generated overlapping MLOStudio copies while preserving genuinely distinct transforms.

August 13, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.44

Fixed

  • The interactive YTYP loader no longer skips locally cached Prop Browser models or incorrectly reports them as failed GTA Game Data resolutions.
  • Live import status identifies models loaded directly from the Prop Browser catalog.

August 13, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.43

Improved

  • Active-YTYP model loading now uses the complete loaded MLOStudio catalog, independent of the currently visible Prop Browser page or filters. Known GTA models use their ready locator paths instead of launching a full CodeWalker game scan.
  • The YTYP section displays live operation status immediately below the action while models are being found and imported.

Fixed

  • Large YTYPs no longer stop after loading only their custom archetype assets while a CodeWalker resolver consumes memory until timeout.
  • Catalog models with an existing local import source are imported directly instead of being unnecessarily prepared again through Game Data or cloud download.
  • A collision-only MLO archetype can now use its matching stream YBN as the Sollumz archetype asset without requiring a drawable of the same name.

August 13, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.42

Improved

  • The active-YTYP model loader now treats the Stream Folder as optional: standard room props continue loading from GTA Game Data, while custom shell/base models are used when present.
  • The YTYP section and action are now named `Load Missing Models for Active YTYP` and `Load and Place Missing Models`, clearly describing what the operation does.
  • The expanded YTYP section now shows a persistent list of custom and GTA models that could not be found instead of hiding their names in the system console.

Fixed

  • YTYP entities that Sollumz pointed directly at one visible archetype template are no longer mistaken for already placed props. MLOStudio creates distinct linked instances with their room and transform, while importing each repeated model only once.
  • Missing-model counts no longer report the same GTA prop twice after both resolution and import checks fail.

August 13, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.41

Improved

  • Repair and Visualize Active YTYP now checks for real visible model geometry instead of trusting a Sollumz link by itself. Empty placeholders are repaired, valid visuals are retained, and restored archetype assets receive explicit Sollumz links.
  • YTYP restoration reuses one verified visual per archetype, reads known props directly through Prop Browser locators, and resolves all remaining GTA names in one CodeWalker batch instead of rebuilding the game index for every prop.

Fixed

  • YTYP entities that Sollumz linked to empty scene objects are no longer skipped as if their models had already been loaded.

August 13, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.40

Added

  • Restore Props from Active YTYP now accepts a FiveM stream folder. Custom shell/base assets and their YBN collision are restored from the resource, while remaining prop visuals are resolved from GTA Game Data; both archetype assets and entities receive the required Sollumz links.

Improved

  • YTYP restoration now runs as a responsive progress operation with the current prop name visible and Escape cancellation, instead of making Blender appear frozen during a long Game Data lookup.
  • Room entities are grouped by room, every portal-attached entity goes into one Portal Props collection, and only true orphans remain Unassigned. The asset collection is named from the active YTYP rather than its collision object.
  • Exact-name prop import is now a clearly named, standalone Import Prop by Name section alongside Restore Props and Generate Manifest.

Fixed

  • Restored room props no longer bring in or duplicate their collision hierarchies. The resource YBN is imported once with its shell/base asset.

August 13, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.39

Added

  • Game Data can now restore every unlinked prop referenced by the active Sollumz YTYP, preserve its exact transform, link it back to the entity, and organize restored hierarchies into one collection per MLO room.

Improved

  • Material and Prop Library windows now behave as regular resizable Windows windows and support drag-to-edge snapping; the Material Editor divider can also be dragged to resize the adjustments area.
  • DirectX/GTA normal maps now use the correct viewport orientation, bringing Blender shading closer to the material preview.
  • Game Data and manifest tools are easier to navigate: YTYP restoration has a clearer name, Generate Manifest is collapsible, Prop Library pagination stays visible at narrow widths, and the redundant Refresh button is gone.
  • User Feedback appears near the top of the admin dashboard.

August 13, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.38

Fixed

  • Converting a Sollumz Normal Spec Detail material no longer fails when an embedded DDS image has no Blender `Image.file_format` value.

August 12, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.37

Fixed

  • Downloading an ambientCG material no longer inherits an enabled Detail Map from a previously edited material, which could make the explicit Normal Spec shader fail as incompatible.
  • Normal maps whose names end in `_dn` are now classified as normal maps instead of detail maps when imported from converted projects.

August 12, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.36

Fixed

  • MLOStudio no longer cancels a selected-only Sollumz export with instructions to select an asset root or disable Limit to Selected. Sollumz now retains ownership of export-scope validation and automatically resolves selected children inside valid asset hierarchies.

August 12, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.35

Fixed

  • Texture export no longer exposes Texture Library storage UUIDs as texture names. Existing affected materials are repaired during build, and assigning one source to Diffuse and Specular still produces one shared texture dictionary entry.

August 12, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.34

Fixed

  • Prop Browser now waits for the complete right-click release before returning from placement, so Blender cannot retain the trailing mouse event and leave the restored Library inactive until a left click.

August 12, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.33

Fixed

  • Prop Browser now becomes mouse-active immediately after placement finishes, without requiring a preliminary left click.
  • Texture export converts Unicode and previously corrupted Cyrillic basenames into readable GTA-safe names instead of mojibake.
  • One identical texture assigned to multiple sampler slots keeps one shared exported name; only genuinely different content with the same basename receives a collision suffix.

August 12, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.32

Fixed

  • Source Map file import and the shared Sollumz Embedded checkbox now work inside the native editor without closing it.
  • Texture exports keep the original imported basename when Rename Changed Textures is off. Divergent embedded DDS files with a colliding basename are protected automatically, while identical content is deduplicated.
  • Prop Browser now actually hides during placement, restores the same window and browsing state on right-click exit, and refreshes its hotkey toggle states.

Improved

  • Left and right clicks continuously cycle source-map resolution values instead of stopping at the minimum or maximum.
  • Placement hotkeys use a larger translucent, muted overlay centered near the top of the viewport.
  • Export Folder is selectable directly from its Material Editor row, persists across sessions, and is the initial shared default for material, Sollumz and manifest export paths.

August 12, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.31

Improved

  • Placement now shows a high-contrast viewport panel with LMB, Enter, Esc, F/R/A/G/Q/E/P/S and live toggle states while Prop Browser is hidden for reliable keyboard focus.

August 12, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.30

Fixed

  • Import Textures now uses an editor-owned Windows file picker, so opening the importer no longer makes the native Material Editor disappear behind Blender.
  • Prop Browser yields the keyboard to Blender for the full placement session and restores the same browser window afterwards, making F/R/A/G/Q/E/P/S placement shortcuts reliable.
  • Source Maps again show the remove-map cross while keeping the obsolete add-map plus removed.

Improved

  • Source-map library, file, external-edit, remove, and Embedded controls now have explicit hover tooltips; Embedded continues to use the same state as Sollumz.
  • Export resolution is capped at 2048. Defaults are Diffuse 1024, Normal and Specular 512, and Detail 128; legacy 4096 settings are clamped safely.
  • Left click raises a source-map export resolution and right click lowers it without wrapping at either end.
  • Export sizes are upper bounds: larger sources are downscaled, while smaller sources keep their maximum available resolution without upsampling or aspect-ratio distortion.

August 12, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.29

Fixed

  • Emissive shaders no longer expose a nonexistent emissive source-map slot. They correctly use DiffuseSampler and show the Emissive adjustment group only for emissive shader profiles.

August 12, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.28

Fixed

  • Texture categories now delete permanently instead of being reconstructed from an ambientCG group during refresh; affected textures immediately return to All.
  • Texture and material category order now follows creation order, with new categories appended at the end and no automatically inferred Tiles, Concrete, or other stock taxonomy.
  • Native library windows close before Blender replaces the current file and during Blender shutdown, preventing actions from using stale Scene or Window state.
  • Prop right-click actions again expose Import Full Asset, Sollumz YTYP creation and assignment, Copy Name, and Copy YTYP without offering deletion of cloud props.
  • Build All and Build & Export now preserve the real AmbientCG MASTER instance, so slider adjustments are baked into exported textures.

Improved

  • Import Textures is now a fourth top-level tab directly after the highlighted AmbientCG tab; refresh is shown as an icon in every library view.
  • Prop Browser page arrows are wider and centered in the top toolbar.
  • Blender operator and export-setting results are mirrored into the native editor status area.
  • Source Maps now expose direct file, Texture Library, and external-editor actions plus a per-map export resolution; adjustment groups appear only when the active shader supports them. GTA emissive shaders continue to use DiffuseSampler and expose only their emissive multiplier control.
  • DetailSampler images from user Blender files and shared detail assets are cached once and exposed under the Detail Maps tag in Texture Library.

August 12, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.27

Fixed

  • Prop placement now respects the nearest visible mesh instead of continuing to raycast only the first room surface, so props in front of the cursor no longer pull new placements toward the camera.
  • Upright props placed near walls now resolve to the floor below the wall hit; wall-mounted alignment remains available through Align Rotation.
  • Deleting a texture or material category now clears that category tag while keeping every affected item visible in All.

Improved

  • Material and Texture category chips now reflow across the available width, with a highlighted add button directly after the last category and no separate Uncategorized category.
  • Materials now expose the same category creation workflow and Import Textures action as Textures, and both tabs use a larger refresh icon.
  • Texture cards now show a distinct Hold · Drag & Drop cue between their two click actions.
  • Export preflight now creates UVMap 1 alongside UVMap 0 and Color 1 when the mesh does not provide it.

August 11, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.26

Fixed

  • Materials imported from ambientCG now retain their real `MASTER` scene instance through automatic Sollumz export, allowing the built material to replace the editable preview slot before the RAGE asset is written.

August 11, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.25

Fixed

  • Automatic material build now hooks the actual Sollumz UI entry points used by both File > Export and the Export RAGE Assets panel button. Materials are prepared when the file browser opens and again at confirmed or direct export, instead of relying on Sollumz's internal timed method.

August 11, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.24

Fixed

  • Sollumz export now reports an actionable error instead of silently skipping auto-build when Limit to Selected contains no exportable Sollumz root.
  • Export slots that already use a built material now resolve their matching editable MLOStudio recipe by stable ID, so unsaved changes are saved and rebuilt without building unrelated scene materials.

August 11, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.23

Improved

  • Sollumz export now automatically saves changed material recipes and builds only missing or stale MLOStudio materials used by the actual export selection; current built materials and materials outside the export scope are skipped.
  • Import Textures is now a larger highlighted primary action in the Textures tab, while Refresh uses a compact refresh icon.
  • Environment is no longer offered as a source map for Normal Spec Detail; it remains exclusive with Detail and is exported through Normal Spec Reflect.

August 11, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.22

Fixed

  • Save Current, Build Current, Build All and Build & Export now execute from their visible native buttons instead of being intercepted by overlapping editor controls.
  • Save Current writes the stable preview and all current parameters as the new Reset baseline; live slider previews no longer lock or overwrite that saved preview.
  • Build Current rebuilds the current active material, while Build All rebuilds every scene material and Build & Export uses the persisted Export Folder.
  • Add to Current Material replaces the active material map that matches the texture category, without removing its other source maps.
  • During texture drag, the matching source-map slot is highlighted green and the other valid slots remain yellow.

August 11, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.21

Fixed

  • Build Current now always rebuilds the material displayed in the active scene slot, including texture adjustments made after an earlier build.
  • Build All and Build & Export now force a complete texture rebuild instead of silently reusing stale output, and the export folder remains an absolute persistent path shown in the native editor.
  • Sollumz export now rebuilds both editable and already-prepared MLOStudio material slots at the actual export boundary.
  • Prop placement hotkeys are forwarded to Blender even when Windows refuses the native browser focus handoff.
  • Align Surface keeps prop-to-prop placement and now identifies the actual hit surface while native-window placement events are handed back to Blender.

August 11, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.20

Fixed

  • Prop Library previews now include WebP decoding support for every supported Blender Python version, so server-downloaded thumbnails render on clean computers.

August 11, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.19

Fixed

  • Material catalog synchronization and library scanning now wait until Blender finishes startup, preventing a saved MLOStudio installation from blocking Blender launch.
  • Content publication now replaces hard-linked files without mutating older immutable releases.

August 11, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.18

Fixed

  • Automatic updates are now staged while Blender is open and applied only after Blender exits, avoiding Windows locks from bundled Pillow binaries.
  • Automatic material build keeps watching Blender's registered export operator and follows late loading or runtime switching between Sollumz and Sollumz Dev.
  • Production base-material publication now exposes the complete validated 61-material bundle from the active immutable content release.

Improved

  • Native Build Active, Build All and Build & Export buttons now show a clear pressed state and keep the actual build/export result in the status line.

August 11, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.17

Fixed

  • Prop Library cloud previews now remain tied to authenticated server downloads instead of silently falling back to developer-machine mirrors.
  • Automatic material build now hooks the Sollumz export class actually registered by Blender, including Sollumz and Sollumz Dev 2.8.3/2.9.0 in legacy and extension namespaces.
  • ambientCG page size and page count now follow the number of complete material cards that fit in the resized native window.
  • Interactive placement returns keyboard focus to Blender so F, R, A, G, Q, E and other placement shortcuts work after launching from the native Prop Library.

Improved

  • Placement buttons now show their shortcut keys in full labels and use a clearly contrasting active state.

August 11, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.16

Changed

  • Replaced Blender library dialogs with independent, resizable native Windows hosts.
  • Combined Materials, Textures and ambientCG in one Material Editor; Prop Browser remains its own native window.
  • Unified the former Materials and Props sidebar tabs into one MLOStudio workspace with shared Game Data, Updates, Manifest and two native-window launchers.
  • Material Editor now keeps Materials, Textures and ambientCG in one window; its right inspector contains live Source Map drop targets, adjustments, Save and Build actions.
  • Added adaptive, virtualized native card grids with fully opaque previews and names; hover now contains only the subtle primary action.
  • Moved rename, copy, category changes and delete to the native right-click menu.
  • Fixed clean base-material switching so unchanged materials are not saved or rejected as read-only.
  • Added captured-mouse texture drag-and-drop onto Base Color, Normal, Specular, AO and Displacement slots.
  • ambientCG network work now completes through Windows messages without interval polling, while Blender changes remain on its main thread.

August 11, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.15

Fixed

  • Preserved normal user access to the MLOStudio add-on after an update started from an elevated Blender process.

August 11, 2026

Important update

VERSION 2.0.14

Fixed

  • Restored Prop Browser cards and adaptive card sizing in the dedicated library dialog.
  • Separated the GTA V Game Files disclosure in add-on settings from the one in Prop Browser.
  • Manual Material Library refresh now rebuilds missing previews.

Added

  • Added material category selection, category creation and category deletion; deleting a category moves its materials to Uncategorized.
  • Base-material recipes now resolve DDS textures from the user's own local GTA V installation through the extractor.
  • MLOStudio does not include, host or distribute GTA V files or extracted Rockstar Games assets.

August 11, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.13

Improved

  • Returned the Material, Texture and ambientCG libraries to one resizable Blender dialog with clear tabs.
  • Returned the Prop Browser to a dedicated dialog inside Blender without creating another scene window.
  • Made library cards and ambientCG categories automatically reflow as their dialogs are stretched or narrowed.

August 10, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.12

Changed

  • Opened Material, Texture, ambientCG and Prop libraries in separate Blender windows.
  • Simplified the standalone Prop Library to categories, search and placement controls.
  • Removed the simulated texture drag action and kept map assignment in the visual texture picker.

  • Added editable texture names and map types, recoverable deletion and material creation from a texture card.
  • Added ambientCG browsing by category and import of authored color, normal, specular, displacement and ambient-occlusion maps.

August 10, 2026

Regular update

VERSION 2.0.10

Improved

Improved

  • Improved compatibility with Sollumz 2.8.3 and 2.9.0.
  • Corrected room, entity and portal bindings across the Interior Generator presets and density settings.
  • Added native YMAP export when using Sollumz 2.9.0 while retaining the object-based workflow for Sollumz 2.8.3.
